Dan, the Floor Guy has done his work and installed a beautiful red oak hardwood floor. Stain natural and coat with a 3M seal to resist scratches and spills. He is pictured removing the last protect tape. He and his helper did an outstanding job with our remodel.
DJ Glass delivered and installed our new glass sliding shower doors. We had original were going to install a glass door on the right side of the stall and a fixed glass panel on the left.
Darrell pointed out in another remodel how he got drench trying to turn on the shower water to ward the water. Based on that comment we opted to for a slider.

RIGHT, Darrell coordinates his subs as he carries in heavy duty paper to protect our new floors. This next phase is the finishing all the detail work, installing our appliances and baseboards
LEFT, Michele helps Darrell lay down the the protective paper in the hallway. It will stay until all the work is complete.
RIGHT, Michele is cleaning our cabinets of all the floor dust before the drawers are are re-installed.
BELOW, the Family room floor is now protected. We planned to empty all the furniture stored in the back porch and stage them in the Family or Living room.
The back porch is now free of all the items stored here since May 2013. With the porch free Darrell can now proceed next week on installing the new wood mounts for the fans.

RIGHT, This is our new beverage cooler. You can actually sustain two different temperatures. I plan to keep our special drinks, beer and wines from all the Porsche tours we have made over the years.
ABOVE, is our new oven and microwave. There was just one problem, the trim kit we ordered 15 months ago does not fit the microwave.
Darrell and Michelle spent several days trying to order a new trim kit. We don't know for sure when we can get a the correct trim kit.
RIGHT, this is a view of our three windows into the Kitchen.
Another task was the installation of the baseboard throughout the living space. This can now be completed as the floors are completed.
ABOVE, I just finished getting all the leaves that blew into the garage during our first taste of Autumn winds.
This weekend I going on a 700 mile road trip to San Luis Obispo and back. We will be visiting lots of sights on scenic Hwy. 1 including Hearst Castle.
NEXT: All the subs will be back next week to complete their various projects for the remodel.
