The next four pictures show how our wonderful fifty year old Kitchen ended up in the driveway dumpster, well most of it. There are three pieces that went downstairs courtesy of Sandy wanting some reminder of what was... whatever.
This view is looking towards the pantry (utility) room.
Now this view is what's left of where the sink, dishwasher, blue curtains and my personal favorite the Jenair cook top with it blue protective shield use to be. Look at all that old wiring. There's is even a TV cable connected to a hidden antenna still present. I love the pass through to the back porch by the yellow ladder. The new plans calls for the window over the sink to do that task.
Now you start to see what we plan to do. This view shows the wall which will also be heading
to the dumpster as soon as all the wires and cable get snipped or
coiled. See the wood flooring? Well that's on the chopping block too. Also see on the right where the next space will emerge. Below Darrell and Stacy take up the last of the dining room wood floor. There were lots of good times in the room to be replaced with new ones.
Ever wonder where all stuff went? Well it didn't fall too far from the tree. I love going to our refrigerator for a cold drink and a couple of vegetables for my morning shake. One thing missing is the ice maker, that 's disconnected until it re-location in the pantry.
What is missing in this view of the living room? We decided to remove the popcorn ceiling, wallpaper and soon those lovely brown beams. This is Sandy's future antique room.
NEXT: Is the Day 6 demo chronicles.
