Our new three-sided glass fireplace is real attention getter. There is only a little touch-up and it is ready to heat up our living space with a romantic flare.

BELOW, Rich chips at the finish edge to match the other rough edges of the exposed ledge slabs.
RIGHT, Rich applies the glue to cement the ledge to the base. It is so strong you can't break the bond with a crowbar.
BELOW the finished ledge slab waits to be set in it's final location.
It's official:
"Two Thumbs UP"
The entire seating area is glued down and will need to set up for 24 hours before anyone can seat their butt on it.
Can you visualize us seating there with a glass of wine or cup of coffee enjoying the morning light or a evening sunset.
John Formica Shop came by to install two soap/shampoo trays.
One was a no brianer.
The other, needs Darrell's input to advise us of the correct height next to the flex shower hose.
BELOW is the last piece to be installed.
RIGHT, Rich, Darrell's Dad trims out the French doors that open to the hallway. He also did the interior of the hall closet.
Stacy prepares the opening with paper and lots of screw prior to installing the new Studio window.
RIGHT, Craig helps keep everything straight and level. Stacy is ignoring him as he has focus on keeping every thing square and true.
The window is now installed and ready to insulate the Studio from the Southern sun's direct heat. There should be a noticeable different in heating and cooling this living space.
BELOW, is the finish window done and the backyard view of the tool shed and vegetable garden.

I can't wait to get my son back on the job.
There are a lot of questions to be answered.
Plus we need more trim.
